Egoyan Zheng is a novelist and poet. He has won the Taiwan Literature Award, the Taipei International Book Fair Award, the Wu Sanlian Award, the Literary Newcomer Award, the Liberty Times Lin Rongsan Literary Award, the Wu Zhuoliu Literary Award, the Chinese Science Fiction Nebula Award, a Lianhe Wenxue 2010 Book of the Year, and has been named by the Central News Agency as one of the Top Ten Figures in Taiwan. He has also been shortlisted for Nanfang Dushi Bao’s Chinese Literary Media Award for Novelist of the Year, the Man Asian Literary Prize, and the Frank O'Connor International Short Story Award. He has been the former writer-in-residence of Literarisches Colloquium Berlin, visiting writer of Hong Kong Baptist University International Writers Workshop (IWW), writer-in-residence of Taipei Medical University, writer-in-residence of Chung Hsing University, artist-in-residence of Chenggong University, Yuan Zhi University writer-in-residence, and more. His works include Lingdu fenli (Zero Degrees of Separation), Shi meng ren (Dream Eater), Yu guji deng qing (As Light as Loneliness), Ni shi chuan ru wo tongkong de guang (You Are the Light That Penetrates My Pupils), Baifang tangguo ayi (Visiting Aunt Candy), Lingdidian GroundZero, Huanshi lu (Illusions), Weng zhong ren (The Man in the Urn), and more. His works have been translated into many languages.

伊格言，小说家／诗人。曾获台湾文学奖金典奖、台北国际书展大奖、吴三连奖、联合文学小说新人奖、自由时报林荣三文学奖、吴浊流文学奖长篇小说奖、华文科幻星云奖长篇小说奖、《联合文学》杂志二〇一〇年度之书、中央社台湾十大潜力人物等奖项； 并入围中国《南方都市报》华语文学传媒大奖年度小说家、英仕曼亚洲文学奖、欧康纳国际小说奖等。曾任德国柏林文学协会驻会作家、香港浸会大学国际作家工作坊（IWW）访问作家、台北医学大学驻校作家、中兴大学驻校作家、成功大学驻校艺术家、元智大学驻校作家等。着有《零度分离》、《噬梦人》、《与孤寂等轻》、《你是穿入我瞳孔的光》、《拜访糖果阿姨》、《零地点Ground Zero》、《幻事录：伊格言的现代小说经典十六讲》、《瓮中人》等书。作品已译为多国文字，并售出日韩捷等国版权。
