Shen Dacheng was born in 1977. She lives in Shanghai, and has worked in advertising, media, and publishing. Her short story collections include, Luci xiangqi de ren (People You Remember Again and Again), Xiao xingxing diao zai xiawu (An Asteroid Falling in the Afternoon), and Milu yuan (The Lost Man).
