Hu Xian was born in Xuzhou in 1966, and has worked as teacher, journalist, and curator. He currently lives in Nanjing and is Editor-in-Chief of the poetry magazine Yangzijiang. His poetry collections include: Hourglass (2016), and Empty Stairs (2017). He has also published an essay compilation, The One Who Can Never Return Home (2016). He has been awarded the title of Top Ten Young Poets in the New Century (2009), the Wen Yiduo Poetry Award (2011), the Xu Zhimo Poetry Award (2012), the Rou Gang Poetry Award (2014), the Poetry Annual Poetry Award. (2014), the Tencent Academy Literature Award (2016), the Huadi Literature List Poet of the Year Award (2017), the Stars Annual Poet Award (2018), the October Literature Award (2018), and the Lu Xun Literature Award (2018), among others.

胡弦，1966年生于徐州乡村，做过教师、报社记者、文化馆创作员，现居南京，《扬子江》诗刊主编，出版诗集《沙漏》（2016）、《空楼梯》（2017），散文集《永远无法返乡的人》（2016）等。曾获诗刊社“新世纪十佳青年诗人”称号（2009）、闻一多诗歌奖（2011 ）、徐志摩诗歌奖（2012）、柔刚诗歌奖（2014）、《诗刊》年度诗歌奖（2014）、腾讯书院文学奖（2016）、花地文学榜年度诗人奖（2017）、《星星》年度诗人奖（2018）、十月文学奖（2018）、鲁迅文学奖（2018）等。
